SHINee's Jonghyun, Shin Se Kyung end relationship

MANILA, Philippines - K-pop boy band SHINee’s lead vocalist Jonghyun and actress Shin Se Kyung have ended their eight-month relationship because of their demanding schedule.
Shin’s agency was quoted as saying that the Jonghyun and Se Kyung’s busy schedule prevented them from seeing each other regularly that led to their breakup although they decided to remain friends, according to Korean media.

Their relationship was revealed in October last year when Korean news site Sports Seoul published photos of the two walking together, including a shot where Jonghyun’s arm was around Shin’s shoulder. This surprised and shocked fans of the two celebrities. 
Agencies SM Entertainment and Namoo Actors eventually confirmed that the two were dating.
With their careers on the line, the relationship was doomed from the beginning. The relationship didn’t sit well with some Korean fans, who began terrorizing Shin on cyberspace. Fans posted hateful comments on Shin’s Cyworld mini-homepage that forced her to shut it down.
The news about Jonghyun and Se Kyung’s breakup came a day after Jonghyun was a no-show at SHINee’s Japan Debut Premium Reception in London that was held on June 19 at the historic Abbey Road Studios.
SHINee became the first Asian artist to perform at the famous studio, where Beatles recorded their albums.
Only four members of SHINee—Onew, Key, Taemin and Minho—performed at the event as Jonghyun was suffering from fever.  
“5 members of SHINee were planning to perform the best stage for the debut in Japan, but Jonghyun couldn’t participate in the Live Stage because of high fever. This decision is made for Jonghyun’s health so we ask for your understanding regarding this matter,” according to a notice posted  by SM Entertainment and EMI Music Japan on SM Town’s Facebook page.
The London event was held in preparation for the release of SHINee’s Japanese debut single “Replay” on June 22. The Korean version of “Replay” was SHINee’s debut single in 2008.
On the other hand, Shin is currently filming the movie “Flight: Close to the Sun” together with Asian pop star Rain.
