Asia's Psy, Hangeng Win At MTV EMA 2012

MANILA, Philippines - Two Asian artists triumphed at the MTV Europe Music Awards held in Frankfurt, Germany, on Sunday night (Monday in Manila).
Korean rapper Psy's phenomenal hit "Gangnam Style" won Best Video, beating out Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night," Katy Perry's "Wide Awake," Rihanna's "We Found Love" feat. Calvin Harris, and M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls."
On the other hand, Hangeng, the former member of Korean boy band Super Junior, took home his first MTV EMA award--the Worldwide Act plum.
He edged out Rihanna, Restart, Ahmed Soultan and Dima Bilan. Hangeng earlier won his ticket to the MTV EMA by winning the Asia Pacific Worldwide Act.
The Worldwide Act award was announced by the Jonas Brothers.
Psy performed "Gangnam Style" with his army of Psy wannabes dressed in his signature tux, bowtie and dark sunglasses.
Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber were the biggest winners, bagging three awards each.
Swift won Best Female, Best Look and Best Live while Bieber won Best Male, Best World Stage and Best Pop.
