Seoul City will be operating a late-night (midnight~5:00 AM) bus service starting April 19. Initially, the service will be operated for three months on a trial basis.

Psy bags 6 nominations in 2013 Billboard Music Awards (+ list of nominees)

Korean rapper Psy grabbed six nominations in the 2013 Billboard Music Awards including Top New Artist and Top Streaming Song for his hit single "Gangnam Style."

Billboard announced the nominees for this year's awards, which will be held on May 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Korean rapper Psy's "Gentleman" music video has reached a milestone, achieving 100 million views and more than 1 million likes since it was uploaded on YouTube on April 13.

The music video achieved the feat this morning and it continues to rack up more than one million views per hour.

Manila Bulletin: Psy’s ‘Gentleman’ video earns 22 million views in 24 hours

Korean rapper Psy unveiled the much-anticipated music video for his new single “Gentleman” last April 13 and in just 24 hours, it set a record of more than 20 million views on YouTube.

The music video was uploaded on YouTube at about 8 p.m. on Saturday and, in just 12 hours, it already had 4.28 million views.

Actors, Staff of hit Korean drama head to Cebu for vacation

The actors, staff and crew of the hit drama "That Winter, The Wind Blows" will be vacationing in Cebu in southern Philippines starting today.

The vacation is an incentive for the people who worked on the drama, which rose to the No. 1 spot in the ratings in its time slot.

In the film category, heartthrob Song Joong-ki of "Werewelf Boy" has been nominated for best actor along with Ryu Seung Ryong of the hit movie "Miracle in Cell No. 7," Lee Byung-hun for "Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King," Ha Jung-woo for "Berlin" and Hwang Jung-min for "New World."

JYJ performs before sold-out crowd in Tokyo

Korean boy band JYJ has proven through concerts held at Tokyo Dome recently that their popularity in Japan remains high.

JYJ, composed of Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, performed to a sold-out crowd of 100,000 fans who came to the concerts held from April 2 to 3. Another 50,000 fans will come tonight, the last day of the concert.

Korean actress found dead in apparent suicide

MANILA, Philippines - A Korean actress who became popular in the 1990s was found dead in her home, which authorities said was an apparent suicide.

The Korean police identified the victim as 38-year-old actress Kim Soo Jin, who debuted in the Korean entertainment industry in 1994.

MTV Japan announced the nominees, the hosts and the first three performers of the awards ceremony, which will be held on June 22 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

The announcement was made just hours before the concert was to be held and when many fans were already at the concert venue.
