2 K-pop stars tape TV show in Cebu

By JONATHAN HICAP, Manila Bulletin
Cebu is still the favorite destination of Korean celebrities in the Philippines.
Two K-pop stars went to Cebu in southern Philippines recently to shoot a special episode of a Korean TV show.
Son Dambi, former After School leader Kahi and stylist Chae Han Suk were in Cebu to tape an episode of MBC's "Son Dambi's Beautiful Days" lifestyle TV show.

"Son Dambi's Beautiful Days" premiered in Korea in March and it focuses on lifestyle and fashion. The TV show is targeted for women in their 20s and 30s.
Kahi posted pictures of her Cebu experience on her blog, Twitter and Instagram. The Korean stars stayed at Movenpick Resort & Spa Cebu, according to her blog.
"Hello Philippines," Kahi tweeted when they arrived in the country.
Son Dambi and Kahi experienced what Cebu has to offer. They hit the beach and tried jet skiing and snorkeling.
The three also went around to buy fruits including mango and mangosteen. One particular fruit that got Kahi's attention was durian, which she described as having unpleasant smell but the taste was completely different.
They also experienced Filipino food in Cebu including longganisa, seafood and pansit.
Son Dambi also shot an ad in Cebu.
Son Dambi debuted in the K-pop scene in 2007 and has released five studio and mini-albums, and singles.
Among her music awards include a "bonsang in the Seoul Music Awards and digital bonsang in the Golden Disk Awards in 2009, a best newcomer award in the SBS Drama Awards.
Kahi was the leader of After School when the group debuted in 2009. She graduated from the girl group last year and launched her solo career.
Last April, some of the actors and crew of the Korean drama "That Winter, The Wind Blows" went to Cebu for vacation.
Top stars Kim Sun-Ah and Lee Dong Wook also visited Cebu in 2011 after finishing the filming of their drama "Scent of a Woman."
The Cebu episode of "Son Dambi's Beautiful Days" will be aired in Korea on May 23 and 30.
