Top 100 Korean films named

The Korean Film Archive (KOFA) has released its list of top 100 Korean films in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

The list was chosen by 62 film scholars, film critics, industry professionals and officials through a survey.

Lee Hyori getting married, Won Bin in a relationship

K-pop diva Lee Hyori, 34, is getting married to her boyfriend, musician Lee Sang Soon, 40, according to reports.

The two are reportedly planning to wed in September in Jeju Island in Korea.

Koreans celebrate White Day, pick favorite celebrities

MANILA, Philippines – Today, March 14, Koreans celebrate White Day, a traditional event observed a month after Valentine’s Day.

White Day is when Korean men are expected to give women candies and other gifts.

MANILA, Philippines (Feb. 14, 2011) — If Koreans were given a choice to pick celebrities they want to be their dates on Valentine’s Day, they would spend the red-letter day with Girls Generation (aka SNSD), Big Bang, actor Hyun Bin and actress Kim Tae Hee.
