CEU mass com grad is Pinoy K-pop Star winner

Twenty-year-old Jean Kiley Manguera has never been to South Korea. Come October, not only will she travel to that country but more importantly, she will represent the Philippines in the 2014 K-pop World Festival in Changwon.

K-pop stars Sandara Park, Ailee attend State Dinner in South Korea

Ailee tops Billboard, Korean charts

K-pop star and Philippine tourism ambassadress Ailee is on a roll with her second mini-album "A's Doll House," topping Billboard and other Korean charts.
Billboard announced that Ailee topped the K-pop Hot 100 chart with her title track "U&I."

K-pop star Ailee tapped to promote Philippine tourism

It's more fun in the Philippines and K-pop star Ailee is helping to promote various places in Metro Manila to attract more Korean tourists.
Ailee has been tapped to boost Philippine tourism through short interactive videos that feature her visiting and introducing places in the metropolis.

Rolling Stone picks 10 K-pop groups 'most likely to break in America'

MANILA, Philippines - Rolling Stone website has picked 10 K-pop groups including 2NE1, Big Bang and Girls Generation that have the potential to break into the US music scene.
The website noted that while K-pop artists BoA and Se7en failed in their American debuts in the past, "K-pop has garnered a strong following without the help of any major American backing."
