The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines and the Korea Tourism Organization Manila Office will be awarding an all-expense paid trip to Korea for the winner of the upcoming 2013 Korean Speech Contest on April 27.

Understanding symbolism in Korean Folk Painting

The Korean Cultural Center and the Association of Korean Folk Painting Artists will be opening the exhibit Minhwa: The Meaning of Symbols in Folk Painting on March 8, featuring eight Korean artists whose works highlight the importance of minhwa or folk painting in the Korean socio-historical landscape.

Seoul Visit: Richard Gere spotlights Tibetan plight in photos

Richard Gere shared personal photographs which he says attest to the cruelty inflicted by the Chinese on Tibetans in Seoul Wednesday.
An avid Buddhist and supporter of the Dalai Lama, the Hollywood actor took the initiative to make strong political statements regarding human rights in Tibet.

Exchange program brings four Korean children to Immaculate ConceptionSchool

(Feb. 5, 2011) - Four students traveled more than 6,800 miles to spend a month as part of the first Korean exchange student program at Immaculate Conception School in North Little Rock.
