By JONATHAN HICAP, Manila Bulletin
K-pop girl group 2NE1 will be releasing their new single "Do You Love Me" on Aug. 7 as follow-up to their first comeback track, "Falling in Love," which was released this month.
YG Entertainment announced today the news on the company's official blog.

"Do You Love Me" was produced by Teddy Park, who has worked with 2NE1 in the past.
For the music video, 2NE1 will be using cell phones to shoot scenes that will incorporate a home video format.
The release of "Do You Love Me" coincides with 2NE1's plan to release one song and one music video every month until the yearend.
"2NE1 is always eager to meet the fans. So rather than releasing all the new songs that 2NE1 prepared during the last two years in just one album, 2NE1 is planning to release the songs plus music videos one a month until the end of this year," announced YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk in June.
2NE1 released "Falling in Love" last July 8, which quickly rose to the top of Korean charts.
It peaked at No. 1 on the Gaon Singles Chart.
On the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart, "Falling in Love" debuted at No. 11 and peaked at No. 2. It is currently at No. 7 on the chart.
"Falling in Love" was recently voted as the Song of the Summer on MTV Iggy.
2NE1 edged out Bunji Garlin and Tifa to bag the title.
"Former Best New Band in The World, 2NE1′s CL, Dara, Minzy, and Park Bom once again show off their fierce allure in recent hit, 'Falling in Love,' MTV Iggy’s 2013 Song of the Summer," according to MTV Iggy.
It said, "The reggae-inspired hip-hop track is the perfect accompaniment for a summer beach party. It’s laid-back music video alternates between shots of the members lounging in the solid gold lap of luxury and flirty scenes with model-turned-actors Lee Soo Hyuk and Hong Jong Hyun."
YG Entertainment also announced that Big Bang member Seungri will release his second mini album in Korea on Aug. 19.
