The
hosts and performers for the 2013 Asia Song Festival have been announced and
one of them is a band from the Philippines.

This
year's festival will be hosted by Taecyeon of 2PM, Kris of EXO and Eunhyuk of
Super Junior, according to the Korea Music Content Industry Association.
Singers
from different countries have been invited to perform at the event which will
be held on Oct. 9 at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul.
Representing
South Korea at the Asia Song Festival are 2PM, EXO, ZE:A, Block B, Girls' Day,
Dynamic Duo, Crayon Pop, No Brain, DJ Koo, Idio Tape, SHU-I and Juny
Showchestra.
Foreign
acts will also perform at the event. MYMP will represent the Philippines and
G.E.M will perform for Hong Kong.
Also
invited are 7ICONS from Indonesia and Thelma Aoyama from Japan.
The
last time the Philippines was invited to the Asia Song Festival was in 2008
when Rivermaya performed at the event.
The
2013 Asia Song Festival, which will be aired on KBS, is sponsored by the Korea
Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) with the support of the
Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).
