MANILA, Philippines - Korean rapper Psy emerged as the biggest winner in France's NRJ Music Awards, taking home three awards.
Boy band One Direction won the International Group of the Year and performed the song "Kiss You."
Psy won the International Song of the Year for "Gangnam Style," edging out Rihanna's "Diamonds," Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" and Will.i.am's "This Is Love."

"Gangnam Style" also won the Music Video of the Year over Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat," Rihanna's "Where Have You Been" and c2c's "Down The Road."
The music video for "Gangnam Style" has been viewed 1.24 billion times on YouTube and currently holds the Guinness World Record as the most watched video online.
Psy also bagged the NRJ Award of Honor along with French actor Patrick Bruel.
"I'm speechless...I won 3 #NRJMusicAwards!!! Merci FRACE!!!" Psy tweeted after bagging the awards.
Carly Rae Jepsen won International Breakthrough of the Year over Psy, Birdy and Michael Telo while Tal won the Francophone Breakthrough of the Year.
Rihanna won the International Female Artist of the Year over Adele, Nicki Minaj and Alicia Keys while Shy'm won the Francophone Female Artist of the Year.
Bruno Mars bagged the International Male Artist of the Year over Flo.rida, Pitbull and Will.i.am, and M.Pokora won the Francophone Male Artist of the Year.
Sexion d'Assaut won the Francophone Group of the Year and the Francophone Song of the Year for "Avant qu'elle parte."
Next month, Psy will perform at the inauguration of the new and the first female president of South Korea, Park Geun-hye.
The presidential inauguration will be held at the National Assembly on Feb. 25 and about 60,000 people are expected to witness the event, according to Korean media.
