Asian stars have expressed their sympathy and prayers for the Philippines and for the families affected by Super Typhoon “Yolanda” (international name “Haiyan”), which caused widespread devastation and killed hundreds in the country.

Nichkhun, member of K-pop boy band 2PM, held his Benchsetter Fun Meet yesterday at Trinoma and SM Mall of Asia.
At the fun meet, Nichkhun signed Bench t-shirts that will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated for the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.
At his Bench press conference last Nov. 8, Nichkhun told families affected by the typhoon to “stay strong and keep your hopes up and never give up.”
Korean actor Lee Min Ho, who is also a Bench endorser, told Filipinos not to lose their faith.
“I heard that there was great damage done by typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. I hope everyone is safe now. Please don’t lose faith. We’re thinking of you from Korea,” he posted on his official Facebook page.
2NE1′s Sandara Park said she hopes people in the Philippines are okay.
“Please pray for the Philippines cause of the typhoon damage. Sana ok kayong lahat (I hope you are all okay),” she tweeted.
Korean-American actor and model Ricky Kim tweeted, “Sending prays and thoughts out to the Philippines.”
“Praying for The Philippines…God Speed #TyphoonHaiyan,” posted Asian-American music group Aziatix.
