Snoop Dogg to appear in Psy’s music video

By JONATHAN HICAP, Manila Bulletin
American rapper Snoop Dogg is set to appear in the new music video of rapper Psy.
This was relayed by YG Entertainment via its official blog site, YG Life, noting Snoop’s recent visit to South Korea.

“Snoop Dogg ’s visit to Korea was advanced in secret, without any announcement,” according to the YG Life blog post.
Another star set to appear in the same video is Big Bang’s G-Dragon.
A photo uploaded on an Internet community site dedicated to the Korean rapper showed Psy, Snoop Dogg and G-Dragon together in what seemed to be a karaoke room.
Snoop Dogg is also said to be collaborating with Psy for the latter’s new album set for release in February. Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler is also reported to be part of the album.
Psy’s last album was the “Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1,” which was released in 2012, and contained the hit song “Gangnam Style.”
Last year, Psy released the single “Gentleman” as a follow-up to “Gangnam Style.”
Psy recently bagged the Digital Daesang, or Song of the Year, for “Gentleman” at the Golden Disk Awards.
“Gentleman” was ranked by YouTube as the No. 1 most viewed K-pop music video last year. It was also chosen by TIME magazine as the No. 1 viral video of 2013.
