In the episode, “The Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis traveled to Seoul together with the show’s 13 bachelorettes.
“Awesome, beautiful city. Very modern. There’s a lot of history here,” said Juan Pablo of South Korea’s capital.
For the group date, which turned out to be a meeting with 2NE1, Nikki, Kat, Chelsie, Elise, Cassandra and Danielle were chosen to join Juan Pablo.
Juan Pablo met the bachelorettes at the YG Entertainment studio in Seoul. “This is where like K-pop in South Korea happens,” he told the girls.
“We’ll be dancing to the top K-pop group here in Seoul. K-pop (or) Korean pop is like electropop music exactly like ‘Gangnam Style.’ K-pop is even taking over America,” he added.
The bachelorettes didn’t know that they would be meeting 2NE1, which Juan Pablo described as “Korea’s most famous K-pop group.”
“2NE1 is as big as the Spice Girls. They’re like mega stars here in Korea,” he said.
2NE1 met the group at a dance studio.
“Hi, we’re 2NE1 from South Korea. Welcome to YG Entertainment. Today is a very special day because you guys are gonna experience K-po,” said 2NE1′s CL.
The group then taught them the choreography for “I’m The Best.”
CL surprised Juan Pablo and the girls when she invited them to perform at a concert in Seoul.
“I don’t want you to come as a guest but actually perform,” said CL.
All the girls were excited except for Nikki, who said, “This is my worst nightmare.”
The mini concert was held at Time Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, which was packed with fans.
Before 2NE1 performed “I’m The Best,” they invited the group on stage. Juan Pablo and the girls showed the audience what they learned from 2NE1.
According to YG Entertainment, the Korea Tourism Organization sponsored the episode.
2NE1′s “AON: All or Nothing” world tour will kick off in Seoul on March 1 and 2. The tour will then go to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

The Manila leg of the tour is on May 17 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
