BY JONATHAN HICAP, Manila Bulletin
MANILA, Philippines - The cast of the hit musical TV series "Glee" has been bitten by the "Gangnam Style" bug and they will cover the song in an upcoming episode.
"Glee" has released a teaser of the "Gangnam Style" number that will be featured in the show.

"You know we had to do it," said "Glee" cast member Kevin McHale in the teaser posted on YouTube.
"Gangnam Style" has been sweeping the global music scene in the last three months and Psy has become an international star.
Psy made his first live appearance in Canada this week. He flew to Toronto, Canada, from the US and performed last Oct. 30 at the launching of a smartphone.
During the launch, Psy revealed that will have a concert in Toronto in January.

On Twitter, he said that he is planning a concert tour "in the near future."
On YouTube, "Gangnam Style” has surpassed 600 million views this week and has become the second most viewed video of all time on the site behind Justin Bieber's "Baby."
The success of "Gangnam Style" is putting pressure on Psy to come up with a new song that can equal its achievements.
In an interview with Newsweek, Psy said he finished recording the new song last week and is planning the music video and the dance. From being known as a YouTube sensation, he said his ultimate goal is to hold huge concerts like Madonna.
“[I’m] just known as a YouTube sensation with a funny song, for now. I need to show the world that my final goal is to perform huge concerts like Madonna,” he told Newsweek.
His new track is expected to be released this month.
On Billboard charts, the battle between Maroon 5 and Psy continued for the sixth straight week.
Maroon 5's "One More Night" won the top spot again over "Gangnam Style" on Billboard Hot 100's latest chart released Thursday.
"The songs are the first to place at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, for six consecutive weeks since Rihanna's 'We Found Love,' featuring Calvin Harris, kept LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It' at No. 2 for seven weeks last November/December," Billboard said.
Billboard said airplay remained key to "One More Night" holding on to the No. 1 spot. "Gangnam Style" led in sales and streaming.
"Gangnam Style" is No. 1 on Digital Songs and On-Demand Songs with 1.9 million downloads to date, according to Billboard.
The viral song is also No. 1 on Rap Songs and Canadian Hot 100, No. 5 on the Dance/Club Play Songs, No. 10 on Pop Songs, No. 13 on Radio Songs, No. 14 on Latin Airplay.
