Big Bang Wraps Up World Tour

MANILA, Philippines - Four continents, 12 countries, 48 shows and 800,000 fans in attendance.
Korean boy band Big Bang held their "ALIVE Galaxy Tour: The Final" last Jan. 25 to 27 at the Olympics Gymnastics Hall in Seoul, South Korea as finale to their successful world tour.
Some of the Korean stars who were seen in the audience included 2NE1, Se7en, Girls' Generation and EXO.

"I want to thank VIPs all over the worls [world] for supportinf [supporting] BIGBANG's Alive Tour! See you guys on the next one," tweeted Big Bang member Seungri last night along with a photo of the group bowing to the audience as a symbol of their gratitude.  
Taeyang tweeted that he had so many memories during the tour and thanked the fans for their support.
In a span of 11 months, starting in March last year, the boy band toured 12 countries and one territory and held 48 concerts for a total of 800,000 fans.
The ALIVE Galaxy Tour kicked off in Seoul on March 2 to 4 last year. From there, Big Bang toured Asia, South America, North America and Europe.
They held concerts in Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, US, Peru, United Kingdom and the Philippines.
In the Philippines, the ALIVE Galaxy Tour was held on Oct. 24 last year at the Mall of Asia Arena where more than 10,000 fans were in attendance.
The ALIVE Galaxy Tour was produced by Live Nation with Laurieann Gibson as director.
After the Galaxy Tour, Big Bang members will have their individual activities.
Leader G-Dragon will be embarking on his first world tour. The tour will start in Korea on March 30 to 31 and then go to Japan in April.
Daesung will be releasing his debut Japanese album in February and will hold concerts in Japan in March. (Jonathan Hicap)
