Big Bang's Seungri And Model Anna Kubo: Are They Lovers?

By JONATHAN HICAP, Manila Bulletin
MANILA, Philippines - Korean boy band Big Bang member Seungri has become involved in another controversy with Hong Kong newspaper Apple Daily publishing photos and video of what appear to be intimate moments between him and Japanese model and actress Anna Kubo in Hong Kong. (Videos after the cut)

In the video, Seungri, Kubo and their companions were seen at a club in Wan Chai District in Hong Kong. In one moment in the video, Kubo is seen pulling Seungri by the hand and hugging him. She then kissed him on the cheek.
The newspaper described the two as looking like lovers.
Seungri is in Hong Kong to film the Japanese drama "Kindaichi, Boy Detective: Hong Kong Murder Case".
The drama stars Yamada Ryosuke of the Japanese group Hey! Say! Jump,Vivian Hsu, Eric Tsang and Wu Chun. Seungri plays a Korean exchange student in Hong Kong who is implicated in a murder.
YG Entertainment denied that the Hong Kong video was a scandal.
The latest controversy comes as Seungri's sex scandal is still raging.
Story about Seungri's alleged sex escapade with a woman in Japan were published in popular Japanese magazine FRIDAY last week.
In the story, the woman claimed that Seungri was into choking his sexual partner. She also told the magazine other lurid details.
The magazine published photos of what appears to be Seungri sleeping on a bed.
Big Bang fans slammed the story and said that the photos were photoshopped.  Others said Seungri having sex was okay since he's a man and is old enough.
In an interview with CNNGo, Friday editor June Oyaizu described the magazine as similar to People in the US.
“Friday magazine is a similar to America’s People. But in Friday there is much more than there is in People. Our readers get a combination of that magazine with something like Time and a music magazine," he said.
YG Entertainment has not issued any statement on the sex scandal.
Last year, Big Bang was rocked by two controversies involving Daesung and G-Dragon.
In May 2011, Daesung was involved in a vehicular accident where a motorcyclist died. Korean police ruled that Daesung was liable for the death of the motorcyclist.
He reached a financial settlement with the family of the victim and was eventually cleared of any liability by prosecutors for lack of evidence to point that he was responsible for the man's death.
Last October, G-Dragon was involved in marijuana use. Prosecutors said G-Dragon tested positive for marijuana use after a hair drug test was conducted in July 2011. G-Dragon admitted to smoking marijuana while in Japan in May last year but said that someone gave him a cigarette in a club and he didn't know that it was marijuana.
G-Dragon was not charged for the offense. YG Entertainment apologized for the incident.
