Kim Hyun Joong, KARA top Billboard charts

Kim Hyun Joong and girl group KARA claimed the top spots on the latest Billboard charts while other K-pop artists are also enjoying chart success in Japan.  
According to the latest Billboard charts, Kim Hyun Joong's third mini-album "Round 3" debuted at No. 1 on the World Albums chart.

The album was released online last July 22 and it shot to the No. 1 spot on iTunes in eight countries.
"Round 3" zoomed to No. 1 on the Top Dance Albums charts in Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia and Macau.
Kim Hyun Joong made his comeback on music TV show yesterday on "M Countdown" where he performed "Your Story" and "Unbreakable."
The last part of the choreography for "Unbreakable" showed Kim Hyun Joong taking his shirt off and revealing his well-built body.
On the other hand, KARA topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart with their ninth Japanese single "Thank You Summer Love."
The single was released last July 24 where it debuted at No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.
"Thank You Summer Love" is at No. 2 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart with 69,416 copies sold in one week.
Other K-pop artists are also finding success in the Japanese music market.
Super Junior released their debut Japanese album "Hero" last July 24 which debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Albums chart with 52,232 copies sold.
It debuted at No. 2 on the Oricon Weekly Albums chart with total sales of 102,224 copies.
2PM's Junho released his debut Japanese album "Kimi no Koe" or "Your Voice" last July 24, which debuted at No. 3 on the Oricon chart and sold 40,036 copies.
It has so far sold 61,241 copies to place third on the Oricon weekly chart.
FT Island's "Siawase Ori" is No. 5 on the Oricon weekly singles chart while U-KISS' "Inside of Me" is No. 8 on the weekly albums chart.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE's "Lady" debuted at No. 2 on the Oricon daily singles chart while Big Bang member Daesung's "I Love You" debuted at No. 5 on the same chart.
