An actor and theater director
best known for appearing in the 2011 drama "Dream High" was found
dead in what police said was a case of drowning.
The body of Baek Won Gil, 42, was found at about 9 a.m. on Aug. 16
in the waters of Namdaecheon in Gangwon, South Korea.

The Gangwon Fire Department searched for Baek Won Gil after it
received a phone call from his colleague who said the actor-director didn't
return home, according to ENewsWorld.
Baek Won Gil was fishing when the drowning accident occurred.
"Police launched an investigation, assuming that he drowned
after he slipped while setting his fish tank into place," according to the
ENewsWorld report.
Baek Won Gil appeared in dramas such as "Sirius" aired
this year, "Soldier" in 2012 and "Late Night Hospital" and
"Identical Criminals" in 2011.
His movies included "The Winter of the Year was Warm" in
2012, "Children" and "Funny Neighbors" in 2011,
"Second Half Korea" and "The Yellow Sea" in 2010.
He directed plays such as "Break Out" and
"Jump."
