On Twitter, Siwon of Super Junior described Houston as a “music icon.”
MANILA, Philippines - As the world mourns the death of legendary diva Whitney Houston, K-pop stars also offered their condolences.

On Twitter, Siwon of Super Junior described Houston as a “music icon.”
“RIP #WhitneyHouston we have just lost another music icon. #nowplaying "I will always love you-Whitney Houston" you will be missed!” he tweeted on Sunday.
Jo Kwon, leader of boy band 2AM, and rapper Tablo posted, “RIP Whitney Houston.”
Another member of 2AM, Seulong, tweeted, “Whitney Houston’s death. The legendary musicians I remember enjoying listening to when I was an adolescent are going one by one. Whitney’s music will always stay. I still have my ‘The Bodyguard’ OST CD.”
Solo artist Gina Choi, aka G.NA, posted “OMG... I can't believe this..; RIP WHITNEY HOUSTON.”
Alexander Lee Eusebio, former member of boy band U-KISS and now a solo singer, posted, “Woke up n every1's tweeting bout R.I.P. Whitney Houston. Too bad to be true. Life is short n full of sudden. Let's live with NO regrets.”
Houston was found dead in the bathtub in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11. Authorities conducted an autopsy on Houston’s body.
Houston’s death was a shock to the entertainment industry.
At the Grammy Awards, Jennifer Hudson sang “I Will Always Love You” in tribute of Houston, who was one of the most successful artists during her time.

During her career, Houston won more than 400 awards including six Grammy Awards.
Among her hits are “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “Greatest Love of All.”
