2PM's Nichkhun Is Newest BENCH Endorser

MANILA, Philippines - Nichkhun, member of K-pop boy band 2PM, is the newest endorser of Philippine clothing brand BENCH.

BENCH made the announcement this morning on its Twitter and Facebook page.

"Good morning Benchsetters! We are officially announcing our newest Global Benchsetter. Put your hands up for Nichkhun of the K-Pop band 2PM! #NichkhunforBench," read the announcement.

Nichkhun will be joining BENCH's family of international endorsers. These include "American Idol" runner-up Jessica Sanchez, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Bruno Mars, Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers, Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, Super Junior's Siwon and Donghae and Korean star Lee Min-ho.

The 24-year-old actor and singer debuted as member of 2PM in 2008. In 2009, he was selected to promote the Tourism Authority of Thailand's "Come to Thailand: Let's Take A Break" campaign.

Fans welcomed Nichkhun's BENCH endorsement.

"I am one of the many Nichkhun-biased and i am ecstatic that he is the newest Bench endorser. 2PM is going to be more popular in PH," Jessica, with Twitter username @aprilsixth, told Bulletin Entertainment.

Renika Santos said, "I knew it! something is up when Bench goes into silence! LOL but i didn't expect that it would be Khunnie!"

"DFGHJKCVB OHMYGOD KHUN FOR BENCH THAT'S PERFECT," tweeted fan @bukyeahKhun.

Fan @khoune15 said, "wow what a great addition good luck @Khunnie0624. @Khunnie0624 will explode ur sales."

"Magaling talaga pumili si Bench ng endorser..... Ohlallallala!!!" posted Aireen Galit on BENCH's Facebook page.

2PM fan Jerica Saldana said, "Best @benchtm endorser for me."

The announcement of Nichkhun's new endorsement deal comes as 2PM is set to storm Manila with the holding of the boy band's 2013 “What time is it” Live Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 2.
