Super Junior M, Block B,
BTOB, BAP, A-Jax and A-Prince made sure that fans had a good time when they
performed for three hours at the concert.
In addition, KARA’s
Seungyeon was a special guest at DKFC 2, appearing briefly to greet the crowd.
Fans also came prepared.
They had light sticks of different colors representing fan clubs, t-shirts,
banners and placards.
Filipino singers and
dancers, who are the winners of the Dream K-pop Filipino Champion contest,
became the opening act at DKFC 2.
Then the party began. One
by one, the six boy bands showed their singing and dancing skills before the
fans in the coliseum. Each group sang five songs.
BTOB, composed of Eunkwang,
Hyunsik, Minhyuk, Changsub, Ilhoon, Peniel and Sungjae, was the first to
perform. The band sang “Insane,” “Wow,” “2nd Confession,” “I Only Know Love”
and “Thriller.”
Next was A-Jax, composed of
Hyeongkon, Hyojun, Sungmin, Yunyoung, Seungjin and Seungyub.
At the concert, A-Jax sang
“Angels Brought Me Here,” an English song by Guy Sebastian. During the
performance, Seungyeon appeared to greet the fans. They also performed SS501′s
“Love Like This,” 2MYX,” “One 4 U” and “Insane.”
Block B was the third
performer. Members Zico, B-Bomb, U-Kwon, Kyung, P.O, Taeil and Jaehyo performed
their new song “Very Good” along with “Nalina,” “Nice Day” and “Be The Light.”
One fun moment at the
concert was when A-Prince’s Sungwon, Minhyuk, Siyoon, Seungjun and Woobin
surprised the crowd when they sang “Nasa Iyo Na Ang Lahat” by Daniel Padilla.
The fans also cheered when the group performed “Otso-Otso.” A-Prince also
performed their songs “Mambo,” “Hello,” and “My Lady.”
Six-member group B.A.P,
composed of Himchan, Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jong Up and Zelo, also wowed
the crowd when they performed “Excuse Me,” “No Mercy,” “One Shot,” “Warrior”
and “Bad Man.”
And as expected, Super
Junior M closed the concert. The subunit of Super Junior came with seven
members: Donghae, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Henry and Zhoumi. Siwon
was unable to go to Manila.
They performed songs from
their album “Break Down,’ which was released last year. The opened their set
with “Go,” followed Donghae and Eunhyuk’s “Oppa Oppa” and Zhoumi’s “Distant
Embrace,” “Goodbye My Love” and “Break Down.”
During the concert, Super
Junior M members and the crowd sang “Happy Birthday” for Kyuhyun, who turned 26
last Feb. 3.
For the fans, seeing six
boy bands in one night was a satisfying experience.
Michelle Bonilla, 18, a fan
of Super Junior M, said she enjoyed every moment of the concert.
“I didn’t expect that they
would wave at me. I kept calling their names and waving at them. They waved
back. I felt so happy especially when I saw Super Junior M performing. It made
me crazy and made my heart melt because they were in front of me,” she said.
Ghie Rivera, a fan of Super
Junior, said her favorite moments were A-Prince singing a Filipino song and
Super Junior M’s “Break Down” performance.
Tintin Chua, 19, said she
watched the concert because of Block B.
“They were really fun to
watch. My favorite is Jaehyo,” she said.
After the concert, Super
Junior M’s Eunhyuk posted on Twitter, “Thank you Philippines!!! See u at ma
house.”
“Maraming salamat po
Philippines! We’ve made a lot of good memories. See you again!! I love you po,”
tweeted A-Prince.
