Fans of Korean superstar Lee Min Ho would do well to get ready come March when their idol visits the country for the third time.
Filipino clothing brand, Bench, announced the singer-actor’s visit via Twitter on Feb. 14, posting, “IT’S OFFICIAL! @ActorLeeMinHo is coming back to Manila on March!”

The actor is an endorser of the clothing brand.
Lee Min Ho’s first visit to the Philippines was in November 2012. He returned July last year for the Manila leg of his “My Everything World Tour 2013.”
Despite his success as singer, Lee Min Ho continues to establish his status as an actor of note, particularly via the Korean drama series “The Heirs,” which earned him several citations including the Top Excellence Actor Award, Top 10 Stars and Popularity Award in the SBS Drama Awards last year.
He was also recently voted as the Most Wanted Actor for a Valentine’s date and Most Kissable Actor by a Thai magazine.
In an interview with Bulletin Entertainment last year, Lee Min Ho related how he sees the Philippines as having “its own color” and that he “loves it.”
“I couldn’t forget all the love I had received last year from so many fans. I still remember the last time very vividly,” he said.
He also talked about his first album, which, he said, took a month to finish.
“First plan was making a mini-album with four songs, but it extended to six songs in the recording process. I was never really a singer so I had to learn ways to control throat and such. It took about one month to be able to do so. It was overall a great experience,” he said.
He now considers singing another facet of his career.
“I don’t think of it as starting a new career as a singer. I think it’s a continuation of my professional career. I worked on this album so I can communicate with my fans better, and I would like to have more opportunities like this, although I wouldn’t be able to do it often,” Lee Min Ho said.
That said, he promised to continue improving himself as an actor.
“I don’t really start working on projects thinking how much high up I want up to (career-wise). Of course, I once thought I would only get close to the audience when I can truly be in my character to be able to convince the audience as I was doing ‘Boys over Flowers.’ I do want to make sure that I put everything to come up with the best outcome whenever I take a role,” he said.
