Wonder Girls' Sunye is pregnant with first baby

Wonder Girls' leader Sunye is now an expectant mom.

She announced to the world on Twitter that she is pregnant, more than two months after getting married.

"After experiencing the mystery and miracle of life, I respect all the mothers in the world. ^^ We’ve been permitted a honeymoon baby. I’m entering into the third month, which is said to be a good time to let the baby news be known. Please pray that our baby will grow healthily while inside my stomach!” she tweeted according to ENewsWorld.

JYP Entertainment denied that Sunye got pregnant before her wedding, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.

Sunye, 23, and James Park, 28, got married last Jan. 26 in Seoul. They went to the Maldives for their honeymoon and went back to South Korea last Feb. 2.

She held her last performance with the Wonder Girls last Feb. 5 at the closing ceremony of the 2013 Pyeongchang Winter Special Olympics.

She and her husband then left for Montreal, Canada on Feb. 7. She is on hiatus as member of the Wonder Girls and will focus on her life as a wife.

Sunye previously said she would not be resigning as a member of the Wonder Girls and will continue to be a part of the group.

In her absence, other members of the Wonder Girls will be focusing on their individual activities.
