The Smiths arrived in Seoul last Sunday and were greeted by the media and fans at the airport.
During a press conference following the premiere, Smith said this is his second time to visit Korea.
"This is my second time in Korea. I was here in 2002. I love the city and I'm having a fantastic time," he said.
Brolin said praised the chemistry between Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
"The chemistry between Tommy and Will is so electric and you got that from the minute the first one [movie] came out," he said.
Smith said completing the "Men in Black" trilogy feels like home.
"This is the first movie that I've completed a trilogy. Playing a character three times, for me, it feels like home," he said, adding that the "Men in Black 3" is the first movie he did in four years.
He said Korea was chosen as the venue for the world premiere because it's a growing market for films.
"Men in Black 3" is the sequel to the "Men in Black 2," which was shown 10 years ago in 2002.
The movie will be released in Korea on May 24 and in the Philippines on May 23. It will be released in the US on May 25.
